White abrasion-resistant rubber sheeting is made of soft, high-quality natural rubber (NR) that has good abrasion and tear resistance. Due to the material’s superior mechanical performance and compression resistance, it’s often utilised in product transfer applications as pulley lagging or as a liner for chutes and hoppers. When compared to conventional natural rubber sheeting, abrasion-resistant rubber has a higher elongation at break and tensile strength, and it also complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 regulations for repeated contact with food.
Ketones, dry and wet organic acids, alcohols, and aldehydes are all resistant to the elastomer, but it is not suited for usage with animal fats, petroleum, vegetable oils, or most hydrocarbons. It is provided by the roll or may be transformed into sleeves or gaskets using in-house CNC gear. It has a fabric impression on one side and a plated finish on the other.
