American Compressor Claw Couplings
Description
American compressor claw couplings are made of iron that has undergone a zinc passivation process to lessen the possibility of surface corrosion. To reduce the possibility of unintentional disconnections, the couplings include holes incorporated into the housing unit that allow the fittings to be locked together with the use of a safety clip. These fittings, which are frequently referred to as crow foot, Chicago, or air king couplings, are available from PAR with serrated hose tails and either NPT male or NPT female threads.
American claw couplings resemble European claw couplings in appearance, however the locking lugs’ distance is 41mm, which is a little bit different. By rotating the unit 45 degrees, these fittings are interchangeable with other alternatives of the same type and are simple to connect.
