Our rubber chemical hoses are made especially for the transmission of corrosive chemicals and media, and they are used to move liquids like organic and inorganic acids, ketones, paints, esters, aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons, and organic and inorganic acids (dependent on the liner). All variants include an EPDM outer layer that offers exceptional resistance to ozone and weathering, making them particularly ideal for exterior applications. While the EPDM choices are made of an electrically conductive, anti-static rubber compound, our UHMW hoses are also FDA compliant, making them appropriate for use with foods like animal and vegetable oils.
To provide higher working and burst pressures, textile fibre ply reinforcements are commonly used when manufacturing chemical delivery hoses. One more wire helix reinforcement is used in our chemical suction hoses to help the hose keep its shape.
