Each coupler in the Emco Wheaton DRY-BREAK coupler and adaptor set has an intricately crafted interlock mechanism that prevents opening until the coupler is firmly fastened to the adaptor. The valve cannot be fully closed after the coupler has been coupled and opened, preventing leaks that could damage people and the environment.
All 2″ couplers and adaptors begin with the J72 prefix, followed by the relevant configuration letters and numbers below for the required part. The format will be J72X-XXXX-XXXX.
An example part number would be: J72C-AVN0-A (coupler, aluminium with Viton seals, Female NPT inlet, straight with no swivel). Any special feature requirements go on the end of this part number, such as J72C-AVN0-A004 (the same part as above but includes a dust cap).
