EPDM Rubber Sheeting – Flame Retardant

EPDM Rubber Sheeting – Flame Retardant

According to BS EN 45545-2:2013 + A1:2015 and EN ISO, 9239-1, flame retardant EPDM rubber sheeting is a halogen-free synthetic elastomer. It emits less smoke during a fire and aids in slowing the spread of the flames. The material is appropriate for floor coverings or other completed goods and complies with the European standard for fire prevention on railway and metro coaches.Compared to conventional grades, flame retardant EPDM offers better tensile strength, elongation at break, and temperature resistance because of the composition of the material. Additionally, it is stronger, more resistant to abrasion, and offers good aging, ozone, and weathering resistance.Flame retardant EPDM rubber sheeting is offered in rolls, may be cut into pieces that are the right size, and can be made into gaskets using in-house CNC equipment. You may get it from Petron Thermoplast Direct online by the linear meter by clicking the link above.
