In comparison to normal grades of synthetic rubber, white food quality natural rubber sheeting (NR) has higher tensile strength, elongation at break, and abrasion resistance. It is widely used in culinary and pharmaceutical applications and can be formed into sleeves for product transfer or gaskets. Food quality natural rubber has good resistance to alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, moderate chemicals, and wet or dry organic acids.
