Polyurethane gaskets have great abrasion resistance, excellent deformation resilience under stress, and are resistant to chemicals, oils, weathering, and UV radiation. The polymer is extremely torn resistant, thus it’s frequently used on flanges that are prone to vibration, contraction, and expansion (dependent on the hardness). Our PU gaskets come in a variety of colors, including black, blue, natural, red, and yellow, and are available inshore hardnesses ranging from 35 to 90 (°A), and can be made soft and flexible or rigid like plastic.
We use modern CNC profile cutting machinery at Petron Thermoplast Group, and we can make gaskets in practically any dimension you need. We can convert polyurethane sheets into the standard flange, picture frames, and dovetail gaskets in both small and large quantities. Please visit our ‘How to Measure a Gasket’ tutorial for more information on how to precisely measure your gasket.
Typically utilized in situations that demand an abrasion-resistant gasket with excellent deformation resistance under load.
