Standard Grade Rubber Gaskets

A general-purpose rubber gasket that offers moderate tensile strength and good resistance to abrasion. Commercial gaskets are commonly used in low-specification sealing applications and are considered an economical option. Temperature range of -30°C up to +70°C.

Manufactured from a blend of natural rubber and styrene-butadiene with a single-ply fabric reinforcement. Insertion rubber gaskets are commonly used in general-purpose sealing applications and can be used with water and mild chemicals. Temperature range of -30°C up to +70°C.

A synthetic elastomer that provides excellent resistance to ageing, ozone and weathering. EPDM rubber gaskets have a watertight surface and provide good resistance to abrasion. They are commonly used in exterior sealing applications. Temperature range of -20°C up to +70°C.

A WRAS / WRc approved EPDM that is suitable for use with wholesome water up to +23°C. These gaskets provide excellent resistance to weathering, ageing and ozone and are commonly used by water authorities in sealing applications involving drinking water. Temperature range of -40°C up to +120°C.

A common choice in external sealing applications due to the elastomers resistance to weathering and abrasion. Neoprene rubber gaskets provide moderate chemical stability and are suitable for contact with animal fats, vegetable oils and inorganic salts. Temperature range of -30°C up to +70°C.

Flame retardant and anti-static neoprene gaskets are manufactured from a compound that meets American flammability standard VL94-V0 and is anti-static in accordance with BS 490. They are commonly used in environments where static charge is prevalent. Temperature range of -30°C up to +100°C.

Cut from a synthetic rubber compound that provides excellent resistance to most petroleum based fluids, oils and greases. Nitrile rubber gaskets are a popular option in the automotive, aeronautical, petrochemical and oil industries. Temperature range of -20°C up to +70°C.

Food Quality Rubber Gaskets

Providing excellent resistance to ozone, weathering, ageing and abrasion. White FDA approved neoprene gaskets are a popular option in the food processing industry due to their resistance to animal fats and vegetable oils. They also provide good resistance to weathering, ozone and ageing. Temperature range of -25°C up to +90°C.

Providing superior tensile strength and elasticity compared to synthetic alternatives. Natural rubber gaskets provide excellent compressibility and conform to EC and FDA food approval regulations. Suitable for use with alcohols and mild chemicals. Temperature range of -40°C up to +70°C.

Manufactured from a soft, high quality, FDA approved natural rubber. White abrasion resistant gaskets provide a low compression set and offer excellent resistance to tear. They are commonly used in sealing applications involving abrasive materials. Temperature range of -40°C up to +70°C.

Providing excellent resistance to ozone, weathering, ageing and abrasion. White FDA approved neoprene gaskets are a popular option in the food processing industry due to their resistance to animal fats and vegetable oils. They also provide good resistance to weathering, ozone and ageing. Temperature range of -25°C up to +90°C.

Cut from a synthetic blend of acrylonitrile and butadiene that complies with FDA regulations. White nitrile gaskets are a popular option in food, drink and pharmaceutical applications due to the polymers resistance to vegetable oils, animal fats, fish oils and greases. Temperature range of -25°C up to +120°C.

A popular option in food and pharmaceutical applications due to the materials highly identifiable colour and conformance with EC and FDA food contact regulations. Blue nitrile rubber gaskets provide good mechanical properties and offer excellent resistance to chemicals and oils. Temperature range of -30°C up to +110°C.

Contains additives that are visible to metal detector scanning equipment. Detectable nitrile gaskets help to reduce the risk of product contamination and offer excellent resistance to animal fats, fish oils, greases and vegetable oils. This material is Nitrosamine and ADI free. Temperature range of -30°C up to +100°C.

Silicone rubber gaskets maintain their flexibility and compression set at both low and high temperatures. They are a popular option in interior and exterior sealing applications due to their release properties and resistance to ozone, weathering and oxidation. Temperature range of -75°C up to +250°C.

Metal detectable silicone gaskets contain additives that are visible to most metal detector scanning equipment. They help to reduce the risk of product contamination, comply with FDA and EC food contact regulations and provide excellent flexibility. Temperature range of -60°C up to +200°C.

Cut from a high quality fluoroelastomer that provides outstanding resistance to temperatures and harsh chemicals. White Viton® A rubber gaskets are FDA approved and are a popular option in food, drink and pharmaceutical sealing applications. Temperature range of -10°C up to +250°C.

Manufactured from a high performing fluoroelaster that provides excellent resistance to vegetable oils, animal fats and mineral oils. White FKM gaskets are an unbranded alternative to the white Viton® A and conform to the same FDA approval. Temperature range of -10°C up to +250°C.

An FDA-approved fluoroelastomer that provides excellent resistance to chemicals and high temperatures. Blue FKM gaskets are a popular option in food, drink and pharmaceutical applications due to the material’s highly identifiable colour. Temperature range of -10°C up to +250°C.

Abrasion Resistant Rubber Gaskets

Shotblast gaskets are cut from an abrasion resistant natural rubber that provides high elasticity and excellent durability. They form an effective seal under a low compression set and offer resistance to weak chemicals. Temperature range of -30°C up to +70°C.

Manufactured from a high quality natural rubber that offers excellent resistance to wear. Red abrasion resistant gaskets provide good durability, high compressibility and excellent tensile strength. Temperature range of -20°C up to +85°C.

Tan Para rubber gaskets are cut from a durable, highly elastic natural rubber which offers excellent resistance to abrasion. They provide excellent compressibility and are extremely hard wearing. Temperature range of -25°C up to +70°C.

Manufactured from a soft, high quality natural rubber that provides excellent durability, high elasticity and good mechanical properties. Abrasion resistant gaskets are commonly used in applications involving coarse media. They also comply with FDA food contact regulations. Temperature range of -40°C up to +70°C.

High Specification Rubber Gaskets

Commonly used in sealing applications involving compressed air and gases. Butyl rubber gaskets offer excellent thermal stability, provide very low permeability and are highly resistant to ageing, ultra-violet and weathering. Temperature range of -40°C up to +140°C.

Cut from a high performing fluoroelastomer that offers excellent resistance to hydrocarbons, petroleum, lubricating oils and high temperatures. FKM gaskets are primarily used in the automotive and petrochemical sectors. Temperature range of -30°C up to +250°C.

A branded flouroelastomer that provides outstanding resistance to fuels, mineral acids, organic solvents and petrochemicals. Viton® A rubber gaskets are commonly used in the automotive, aeronautical and chemical industries. Temperature range of -20°C up to +275°C.

Hypalon gaskets are cut from a high quality polymer manufactured from chloro-sulfonyl-polyethylene. They provide outstanding resistance to high temperatures, ozone, ultraviolet and weathering and offer moderate resistance to lubricating oils and chemicals. Temperature range of -30°C up to +180°C.

British Specification Rubber Gaskets

Cut from a high quality elastomer manufactured in accordance with BS 2752.  These gaskets are manufactured wholly from polychloroprene and provide improved mechanical properties and resistance to temperatures compared to standard neoprene. Commonly used in external sealing applications. Temperature range of -30°C up to +120°C.

BS 2751 nitrile gaskets are cut from a compound manufactured solely from acrylonitrile butadiene. These high specification nitrile gaskets provide improved strength, elongation at break and temperature resistance compared to standard nitrile gaskets. Commonly used in sealing applications involving petroleum and oils. Temperature range of -30°C up to +110°C.
