The bubble gasket on the silicone extrusion bubble seals has a domed or curved top, thus the name. A gasket might be found on a window or a door. Gaskets are used to seal the gap between the opening portion of the door or window and the window or door frame. When the door or window is closed, the top bubble collapses. A compression seal is a term used to describe this type of seal.
