TPU stands for thermoplastic polyurethane sheet, which is a type of thermoplastic elastomer with a variety of useful qualities. TPUs are highly impacted, puncture, and abrasion-resistant by nature, have great tear strength, and are unaffected by most oils, greases, and cleaning agents.
TPU is a versatile material that may be made in a variety of shore hardnesses, colors, and standards to suit a variety of purposes. Our own inventory comprises materials with shore hardnesses ranging from 72 to 95, all of which are suitable for dry food contact.
We can turn our thermoplastic polyurethanes into bespoke items like gaskets, washers, and strips using our own in-house manufacturing capabilities. Our Versa-chute® polyurethane sleeves, which are excellent for the transfer and sorting of dry foodstuffs, grain, grit, powder, wood shavings, dust, and other abrasive materials, are our most popular converted product.

90° shore hardness material available in 1mm and 1.5mm thick. Translucent polyester polyurethane that is food contact approved, UV stable, and free of PVC and latex. Temperature range of -30°C up to +80°C.
95° shore hardness material available in 3mm thick. As with TPU95B, this material is harder and thicker than most TPU’s, making it ideal for chutes that need to hold their shape. Temperature range of -30°C up to +80°C.
93° shore hardness material available in 0.375mm thick. It is a clear, food approved material and its thinness makes it extremely flexible compared to other grades. Temperature range of -30°C up to +80°C.
85° shore hardness material available in 1.5mm thick. TPU85 is typically used as flange material on our TPU90 Versa-chute® flexible transfer chutes. Temperature range of -30°C up to +80°C.
95° shore hardness material available in 3mm thick. Its increased shore hardness and thickness makes it more rigid, therefore holding its shape well in most applications. Temperature range of -30°C up to +80°C.
85° shore hardness material available in 1mm and 3mm thick. Commonly used in food contact applications, it is detectable by the majority of metal detector equipment. Temperature range of -30°C up to +80°C.
93° shore hardness material available in 1mm thick. It is an extremely resilient, wear resistant material with excellent mechanical and dampening properties. Temperature range of -30°C up to +80°C.
72° shore hardness material available in 3mm thick. TPU72 is the softest of our materials, and therefore a very flexible option for our Versa-chute® products. Temperature range of -40°C up to +40°C.
82° shore hardness material available in 0.3mm thick. This anti-static material is suitable for dust, powder and abrasive material transfer applications. Temperature range of -30°C up to +80°C.
Polyatex™ thermoplastic polyurethane is static dissipative and is suitable for use in ATEX/IECEx equipment with a material requirement to meet this. Temperature range up to +80°C.
