In order to give high resistance to vacuum and crush, they are often made with an encased steel wire or anti-shock PVC spiral helix. Certain varieties, such as food grade, phthalate-free PVC, taste- and odor-free polyurethane, and flame retardant or anti-static chemicals, offer added advantages.

6104 – Hivac Wire Reinforced PVC
Our most popular vacuum hose, the 6104 displays excellent resistance to crushing, vacuum, UV and chemicals. It is phthalate free and suitable for food contact applications. Available from 6mm – 152mm inside diameter. Temperature range of -15°C up to +60°C.
6128 – Hivac Wire Reinf. PVC Bio
Displays similar properties to 6104, but is manufactured from a bio vinyl compound from biological sources. This allows for reduced CO2 emissions during production. Available from 6mm – 152mm inside diameter. Temperature range of -10°C up to +60°C.
A smooth bore, food grade, ether-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) hose. It is neutral to taste and colour and is resistant to chemicals, oils, fats and abrasion. Available from 20mm – 63mm inside diameter. Temperature range of -30°C up to +90°C.
6904 – Thermoplastic Fire Hose
A thermoplastic hose, reinforced with braided textile plies. This hose is specifically designed for use with fixed or swinging fire hose reels. Available in 19mm and 25mm inside diameter. Temperature range of -20°C up to +75°C.
The red SBR (styrene-butadiene) cover and black SBR liner are reinforced with high strength braided textile plies. Available in 19mm and 25mm inside diameter. Temperature range of -20°C up to +75°C.
Commonly used for firefighting, wash down and jet spray applications. Many of our stocked and most popular nozzles can be fitted to layflat fire hose using female BS336 instantaneous couplings.

6905 – Rubber Potable Water Hose
The two component lining comprises of a polyester jacket with transparent polyurethane liner. The ribbed NBR coating provides further external resistance to abrasion and oils. WRAS approved for use with potable water. Available from 19mm – 152mm inside diameter. Temperature range of -30°C up to +80°C.
