The UPVC Stub End Flange is a two-part pipe fitting used in conjunction with a backing ring to create a secure, detachable flanged joint in a piping system. Made from Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride (UPVC), the stub end flange is highly resistant to corrosion and chemicals. It is commonly used in water supply, chemical handling, and industrial applications where easy disassembly and maintenance of the pipeline are required.

UPVC Stub end flange comes in three main types: Type A, Type B, and Type C. Each has a different design and compatibility with lap joints and slip-on flanges. Type A works best with lap joint flanges, while Type B fits slip-on flanges. Type C is more versatile and works with both, but has a slightly different design. Type A

Designed for Lap Joint Stub end flanges
This stub-end flange has a machine face and lap thickness so that it is equal to or exceeds the wall thickness. The outer corner has a precise radius to fit a lap joint stub end flange, making it easy to rotate and align bolt holes.

Type B

Compatible with Slip-on stub end flanges
Unlike Type A, this stub end is made up to work with slip-on stub end flanges used as lap joint stub end flanges. It has a smaller outer radius, which allows slip-on flanges to sit properly. The machined face ensures a tight seal.

Type C

A Universal Fit
Type C upvc stub ends flange are the shortest and most adaptable. They can be used with both lap joints and slip-on flanges. The inside edge is flared with a rounded transition, but it can be machined to a square edge if needed.
