CPVC Angle Seat Valve Graphics

CPVC Angle Seat Valve

A CPVC Angle Seat Valve is a type of control valve made from Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) material in which the inlet and outlet are positioned at an angle (usually 90°). It is designed to regulate or shut off the flow of liquids in a piping system. The CPVC Angle Seat Valve operates using a seat and piston/actuator mechanism that allows smooth flow control with minimal pressure loss. A CPVC Angle Seat Valve, which is actuated from the rear, can prevent fluid pressure. It is suitable for high-flow work and is installed in lines where conventional ball and other irrigation valves are difficult to assemble and use.

CPVC Angle Seat Valves are widely used in chemical processing, water treatment, industrial fluid handling, and corrosive fluid applications because CPVC provides excellent corrosion resistance, chemical compatibility, and high temperature resistance. These CPVC Angle Seat Valves can be operated manually, pneumatically, or electrically, depending on the application requirements. It is a pneumatically operated, piston-actuated valve with a piston actuator that acts linearly to pull the seal out of its seat.

Benefits of Using CPVC Angle Seat Valve

Excellent Corrosion Resistance

CPVC material provides strong resistance against corrosive chemicals, acids, and alkalis, making the valve suitable for chemical processing applications.

High Temperature Resistance

CPVC Angle Seat Valves can operate at higher temperatures compared to standard PVC valves, typically up to around 90–93°C.

Efficient Flow Control

The angled seat design allows smooth fluid flow with minimal pressure drop and improved flow efficiency.

Leak-Proof Sealing

The valve design ensures tight sealing, reducing the risk of leakage and improving system safety.

Lightweight Construction

CPVC valves are lighter than metal valves, making installation and handling easier.

Low Maintenance Requirement

The simple structure and corrosion-resistant material reduce maintenance and operational costs.

Long Service Life

Durable construction and chemical resistance help the valve perform reliably over a long period.

Chemical Compatibility

Suitable for a wide range of industrial fluids, including aggressive chemicals and treated water.

Cost-Effective Solution

Compared to metal valves, CPVC Angle Seat Valves offer a more economical option for many industrial piping systems.

Easy Installation

Available with multiple connection options such as threaded, socket, or flanged ends for convenient installation.

Types of CPVC Angle Seat Valve

Manual CPVC Angle Seat Valve

Operated manually using a handwheel or lever. It is commonly used in small piping systems where automatic control is not required.

Pneumatic CPVC Angle Seat Valve

Operated using a pneumatic actuator with compressed air. It is widely used in automated industrial processes for fast and reliable operation.

Electric Actuated CPVC Angle Seat Valve

Equipped with an electric actuator that allows remote and automatic control of the valve in automated systems.

Threaded End CPVC Angle Seat Valve

Designed with threaded connections (BSP/NPT) for easy installation and removal in pipelines.

Socket End CPVC Angle Seat Valve
