CPVC Gate Valve
A CPVC Gate Valve is a type of isolation valve made from Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) material that is used to start or stop the flow of liquids in a piping system. It operates by lifting or lowering a flat or wedge-shaped gate inside the valve body to allow or block the flow. When the gate is fully lifted, the valve provides minimal flow resistance. When fully closed, it completely stops the flow. CPVC gate valves are commonly used in chemical processing, water treatment, and industrial piping systems due to their excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature tolerance, and chemical durability.
The CPVC Gate Valve is a manually operated valve designed for the complete shut-off or full opening of fluid flow in a pipeline. This valve is engineered for applications requiring high chemical resistance and performance under elevated temperatures. The gate mechanism moves vertically between the seats, providing a straight-through flow with minimal pressure drop. It is commonly used in chemical processing, water treatment, and other industrial piping systems where reliable shutoff is essential.

Benefits of Using CPVC Gate Valve
Excellent Corrosion Resistance
CPVC material resists acids, alkalis, salts, and many aggressive chemicals, making it ideal for chemical processing plants.
High Temperature Resistance
Can handle higher temperatures compared to standard PVC, typically up to 90°C (depending on pressure and manufacturer).
Long Service Life
Non-metallic construction prevents rusting, scaling, and internal corrosion, increasing operational lifespan.
Lightweight & Easy Installation
Much lighter than metal valves, reducing handling effort and installation cost.
Low Maintenance
Does not require frequent maintenance due to its non-corrosive and non-reactive properties.
Smooth Flow with Minimal Pressure Drop
When fully open, the gate lifts completely out of the flow path, allowing near full-bore flow.
Cost-Effective
Lower material and installation cost compared to alloy valves.
Chemical Compatibility
Suitable for water treatment, chemical industries, electroplating plants, and industrial fluid systems.
