CPVC Wafer Check Valve

A CPVC Wafer Check Valve is a non return valve made from Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC), designed to allow fluid to flow in one direction and automatically prevent backflow in a piping system. It is called a CPVC Wafer Check Valve because of its slim, compact design that fits between two flanges using bolts, without requiring additional pipe length. When fluid flows in the forward direction, pressure pushes the internal disc open. If the flow reverses, the disc automatically closes due to back pressure, preventing reverse flow.

CPVC Wafer Check Valve Manufacturers and Suppliers in India. As a safety filter, the sediment sieve is meant to capture any solid contaminants that may sometimes be in the line. We export valves and other equipment with small holes, such as pumps or control valves, protected by it. The filter screen is easily replaceable and available in a variety of meshes. As a result of their design, they can be installed in extremely tight spaces where a CPVC Wafer Check Valve would be ineffective. As the disc opens, the CPVC wafer check valve has a molded body surrounding the opening. CPVC Wafer Check Valves are used in situations where flow is not a concern.

Types of CPVC Wafer Check Valve

1. Swing Type CPVC Wafer Check Valve

  • Contains a hinged disc that swings open with forward flow.
  • Closes automatically when the flow reverses.
  • Suitable for low-velocity and horizontal pipelines.
  • Simple design with low pressure drop.

2. Dual Plate (Double Door) CPVC Wafer Check Valve

  • Features two spring-loaded plates mounted on a central hinge.
  • Opens with forward pressure and closes quickly to prevent water hammer.
  • Compact and lightweight design.
  • Suitable for medium to high-pressure systems.

3. Spring-Loaded (Non-Slam) CPVC Wafer Check Valve

  • Uses a spring mechanism to assist fast closing.
  • Reduces water hammer and reverse shock.
  • Ideal for vertical and high-velocity pipelines.
  • Provides smooth and silent operation.

4. Lift Type CPVC Wafer Check Valve

  • Disc moves vertically (up and down) to allow flow.
  • Suitable for high-pressure systems.
