CPVC Reducer Bushing
A CPVC Reducer Bushing is a type of pipe fitting made from Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) that is used to connect pipes or fittings of different diameters. It is designed to fit inside a larger socket fitting and reduce the connection to a smaller pipe size. The outer side of the reducer bushing fits into a larger CPVC fitting, while the inner socket allows the connection of a smaller CPVC pipe. This fitting helps maintain proper fluid flow while adapting the pipeline to different pipe sizes.
CPVC reducer bushings are used to join metal pipes of different diameters by reducing the inner diameter of the pipe. CPVC reducer bushings with male and female NPT threaded ends are available from pressure connections and fittings (SHF). CPVC Reducer Bushings need to be in good shape to reduce rapid tire wear and steering or braking problems. A CPVC reducer bushing is a zinc component that is screwed into a port and then has a threaded hole.
