CPVC Reducer Coupler
A CPVC Reducer Coupler is a type of pipe fitting made from Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) that is used to connect two CPVC pipes of different diameters in a piping system. It helps reduce the pipe size from a larger diameter to a smaller diameter while maintaining a secure and leak-proof connection. CPVC Reducer Couplers are commonly used in hot and cold water distribution systems, chemical processing lines, and industrial piping systems because CPVC material provides excellent resistance to heat, corrosion, and chemicals. They are usually installed using solvent cement joining, which creates a strong and permanent bond between the pipes and the fitting.
The CPVC reducer coupler is available for a variety of pipe types, including copper and CPVC, as well as various pipe sizes and configurations. Depending on the application, these fittings may be screw-on, compression, or adhesive attachment types. A reduction coupling is used to connect tubes or pipes of different diameters. These specialised pipe joining fittings are designed to simplify coupling to a wide range of pipe sizes while maintaining the integrity of the pipe circuit.
