PVDF Check Valve

A PVDF Check Valve is a non return valve made from Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) that allows fluid to flow in one direction only and automatically prevents reverse flow in a piping system. The PVDF Check Valve is a non-return valve designed to allow fluid to flow in only one direction, preventing backflow in piping systems. The PVDF Check Valve delivers outstanding chemical resistance and mechanical strength, making it ideal for corrosive and high-purity applications. Commonly used in chemical processing, oil & gas treatment, and industrial fluid systems, the PVDF check valve ensures long-term reliability with minimal maintenance.

PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) Check Valve is a high performance thermoplastic component to prevent backflow and open when forward pressure is applied, closing automatically and flow reverse on same time. When fluid flows in the intended direction, pressure pushes the internal disc/ball/flap open.

Types of PVDF Check Valve

1. Ball Type PVDF Check Valve

  • Uses a ball that moves up and down with flow.
  • When flow stops or reverses, the ball seats and blocks backflow.
  • Suitable for vertical installations.
  • Common in chemical dosing systems.

2️. Swing Type PVDF Check Valve

  • Uses a hinged disc/flap that swings open with forward flow.
  • Closes automatically when flow reverses.
  • Best for low-pressure drop applications.
  • Typically installed in horizontal pipelines.

3️. Spring-Loaded (Lift Type) PVDF Check Valve

  • Contains a spring mechanism to assist closing.
  • Faster closing action reduces chemical hammer.
  • Suitable for higher pressure systems.
  • Can be installed horizontally or vertically.

4️.Diaphragm Type PVDF Check Valve

  • Uses a flexible diaphragm to control flow.
  • Ideal for high-purity and sensitive applications.
  • Common in pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries.

5️. Dual Plate / Wafer Type (Less Common in PVDF)
