Many lengths of hose can be quickly and easily connected together using Bauer couplings. They are generally utilised to transport a variety of fluids, such as chemicals, sewage, slurry, and water, in the agricultural, construction, and water processing industries. The male Bauer is inserted into the female to establish a connection, and is then held in place with a lever closing ring.
At PAR, we provide a wide variety of Bauer type couplings made of galvanised steel that are entirely interchangeable with those made by other manufacturers. We offer hose tails, BSP threads, weld ends, and various flange adaptors in our regular range, with a maximum working pressure rating of 10 Bar (150 psi). To provide suction and airflow, we frequently combine “full Bauer sets” with stocked PVC hose.
Complete Bauer type sets are used to connect two lengths of hose together. They come equipped with a lever closure ring, a male and female Bauer to hose tail and a rubber O-ring. Available from 2″ up to 12″.
Male Bauer type to hose tail couplings are designed to connect a length of hose to a female Bauer type coupling. They are available in galvanised and stainless steel options in sizes ranging from 2″ up to 12″.
Female Bauer type to hose tail couplings are used to provide a connection to a male Bauer and a length of hose. They are available in a range of sizes from 2″ up to 12″ in galvanised or stainless steel.
