Description

In the food sector, PTFE coatings are often utilised to provide baking trays, chutes, and other components with a non-stick, non-toxic surface. Chemical resistance is another advantage of PTFE. Please contact our sales office for particular information on the chemical resistance of various coatings.

Applications

Baking trays, food chutes, chemical pipe linings, centrifuges, heat sealing plates and bars are all examples of heat sealing equipment.

Key Features

The PTFE coating makes the surface non-stick and non-toxic.
Chemical resistance is excellent.

Availability

Products: Custom coated to suit your requirements.
Maximum Size (mtrs): 4.0 x 2.44 x 1.82
Coatings: Teflon® PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethene) and Teflon® PFA (Perfluoroalkoxy).

Teflon® PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethene) Coating

Non-stick PTFE coatings are two-coat systems (primer/topcoat). The working temperature of these items is 260°C, and they feature a very low coefficient of friction, high abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance.

Teflon® PFA (Perfluoroalkoxy) Coating

Non-stick PFA coatings melt and flow during baking, resulting in non-porous films. They operate at a temperature of 260°C and come in film thicknesses of up to 1,000 micrometres (40 mils). PFA coatings are more durable than PTFE and are a superb choice for a wide range of applications, particularly those requiring chemical resistance.
