Smooth tail couplings made to DIN2817 specifications are produced. They have a smooth hose tail, and a ribbed, two-piece, four-bolt clamp is used to hold them to the hose. This protects the hose’s liner from harm that a serrated hose tail may cause. Sizes ranging from 34″ to 4″ are offered for DIN smooth tail couplings with BSP male and female threads.
