Instantaneous fire couplings have a female catch that is spring-loaded and clips behind the male fitting’s lip. The couplings offer a simple way to join numerous hose lengths together and are simply detachable by twisting or pulling the release mechanism. Instantaneous couplings are made in line with BS 336 and come with a 212″ nominal male and female bore head as standard. They come with a range of different sized hose tails, BSPP male and female threads, adaptors, end caps, and plugs on the reverse, and have a maximum working pressure of 16 Bar (232 psi).
Our selection of fire hose couplings at PAR are available in either aluminium or gunmetal, and they are primarily used by the water distribution industry.
