High Impact Polystyrene

High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS), it is a low-cost, durable plastic that is simple to thermoform and manufacture. HIS is frequently used for indoor signage and countertop point-of-purchase displays when the simplicity of manufacturing is critical. It’s an amorphous thermoplastic material that’s good for low-temperature applications.

It’s classified as a standard material since it’s simple to work with, has a high impact strength, and is rigid. It has great impact resistance. Guillotine cutting, die-cutting, punching, and forming are all options. Simultaneously, it fabricates in a flawless way. Thermoforming is a really basic process. It also has a high degree of dimensional stability.
