Description

PVC foam sheet, also known as Foamex, is a lightweight, durable material used in the printing and design industries to create high-quality advertising boards, signage, and scale models. Foamex board, made from polyvinyl chloride and polyurea blend, has a flat, non-porous surface ideal for digital flatbed printing. The substance has good ink adhesion and can be started working with standard cutting tools, paints, and prints.

When exposed to external environments, Foamex PVC board is also highly resistant to moisture absorption and will not warp or shrink. It has excellent insulation properties, is rigid, and performs well when exposed to certain chemicals. On the other hand, PVC foam sheet is not recommended for use in impact applications and can become brittle when exposed to temperatures below -10°C.

Standards**

Offers a Class 1 fire classification in accordance with complies with BS 476/7 regarding fire tests on building materials.
Has a class B, s1-3, d0 in accordance with BS EN 13501 for construction products, including products incorporated within building elements.
Provides a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating, meaning the polymer will self-extinguish after removal of flame.
Has an M1 and M2 classification in accordance with French standard NSP 92501,5 for building materials.
