Description
Vyon® permeable plastic sheet is made of sintered high density polythene (HDPE) sheet and is used in culinary and pharmaceutical applications. It is porous on both sides and has a homogeneous pore structure, allowing for even total area fluidisation. Because of its semi-rigid nature, it is self-supporting, eliminating the requirement for extra support systems that are necessary with canvas and felt medium. It is simple to cut, and all grades listed below are FDA authorised.

Applications
- Filtration, aeration, separation, venting, hoppers, linings, chutes, and cones are all examples of fluidising beds. Sugar, flour, milk powder, paracetamol, ventilators, and vitamins are examples of food and pharmaceutical products. Cement, gypsum, soda/fly ash, and coal dust are examples of industrial and building materials. Titanium dioxide, carbon black, calcium carbonate, epoxy and polyester paint powders, and polythene powder are examples of chemicals and polymers.

Vyon® is made with a regulated and constant distribution of pores throughout and does not stretch or flex during use,guaranteeing uniform flow.
Made from ultra clean,USP Class VI certified raw materials that will not contaminate the powder being fluidised.
Vyon, unlike canvas and felt,does not lose fibres and is hence perfect for culinary and medicinal applications.
It is inherently hydrophobic,functioning as a moisture barrier to assist prevent moisture transfer when utilising industrial compressed air sources.
HDPE is chemically inert and has a wide chemical compatibility.
Easily welded to itself or non-porous plastics to produce bigger sheets or aeration cones, either during production or on a customer’s site.
Effectively cleaned in situ by washing or back flushing.
